Lofty publishes enough data to test its own marketing, and the test produces a more complicated picture: AltStreet could reproduce Lofty's 9.2% May 2026 yield headline only by leaving out the 30 listings that reported no rent that month; the median property's rental income over the last twelve months equaled 3.47% of its original listing price; and 63 of 81 property tokens last traded below their original listing price. AltStreet located no SEC filing for Lofty or its property LLCs, and California entered a consent order in 2022 over interests in Lofty's earlier LLCs.
