Musicow
Musicow runs a regulated South Korean retail market for song-royalty securities: investors buy 'music income securities', trust interests in a song's copyright or recording rights, at weekly auctions, collect the royalties monthly and trade with other members on the app. It is open only to Korean nationals aged 19 and over. Musicow has no offering open to new US investors: its Regulation A program raised $10,660 across two songs from June 2025 and was terminated on September 1, 2026, a crowdfunding offering filed in June 2026 was withdrawn, and musicow.com now shows US visitors a 'coming soon' page. Royalty shares sold in 2025 remain outstanding. The Korean parent is audited, and it warehouses song rights before selling them: ₩138.8 billion of unsold rights at the end of 2025, a ₩12.0 billion write-down of them that year, and a ₩37.2 billion net loss.
