It is the account administrator, not the custodian: Digital Trust, LLC holds the IRAs, partner banks hold checkbook cash, and the customer picks, executes, values and keeps compliant every investment. Since March 2024 Rocket Dollar and Digital Trust have been under common ownership, a fact disclosed in Rocket Dollar's privacy notice and its broker-dealer's audited filings but not highlighted on the pages where customers choose a plan.
